Love the harness

My dog Henry had been pulling on his leash so much that walking him was becoming an annoying chore. It seemed that nothing was working . .. until I found this training harness. I’m amazed how quickly he adjusted to it. Today, I took him to the park wearing his new harness and after about 3 minutes, he realized that pulling on his leash caused the leash to pull awkwardly on his leg and he stopped pulling! That’s all it took. We walked for 30 minutes at the park—a place where he wants to pull me over to all the good smelling spots—he actually walked next to me for the entire walk. I even found myself forgetting to reinforce the “heel” command because the walk was so easy. This harness really works! I highly recommend.

The quality is fantastic and very durable. The training harness helped my dog Baily from pulling and gives me more control. I feel confident taking her places without the fear of her lunging at another pet or person. Also, the shipping and exchange time is speedy quick. We had to make an exchange, and it came in way faster than expected. I highly recommend this for your pup!

Hi, I think we would have liked this more if I could have adjusted the strap that connects to the leash. I have an American Stanffordshire Terrier and she needed something to fit her 22 inch chest but the part that connected the chest to the collar was too long for her and she ended up getting caught up in it. So I am returning it. I did order the smaller size. I think this could have worked for us if I could have had the option for making that one spot tighter.

Our poodle is a therapy dog and we use this on our visits and walks. Works great. She doesn’t pull and I have great control over where she goes in the nursing homes. We had no problem with her learning to use this harness. Fits well.

I just got this no pull harness in the mail Monday and tried it out Tuesday! There is already a big difference in my almost 7 month old Siberian Husky's walking! At first he tried to bite the harness when he was pulling. Then he would try lifting his leg up to get the strap under it. I kept the leash taught enough so he couldn't so he would limp a bit and try to pull. Then he started walking nicely. We went through cycles of this but Im sure he will soon get the idea that walking nicely will feel better which will make him walk better on leash. I even got him to sit yesterday when other walkers without dogs were passing us. Usually he jumps and barks and acts crazy. My recommendations to those that said the tab is too long is that you need to keep the leash without too much slack so that the strap stays where it belongs between the front legs. I am optimistic that this harness is going to be a great thing to have.

Trying to break my youngster of the pulling habit. He didn't like the way the harness caused the leash to pull against his side. He kept trying to bite it; found it an irritant. Tried it a couple of times with the same response. Not a good fit for my dog.

Not only is it sturdy and fits well, it is such a pretty pattern!! We love our no-pull harness and collar!

I have a mastiff and we tried two harnesses before we tried this. This no pull harness is the bomb! I love it and it makes our walks so much easier. And here's the best thing...Lupine replaced it because it got chewed. This is the fourth dog I've bought Lupine products for and this is the first time I've ever had to have something replaced. I will never buy any other brand.

The harness is well made. It works great for a friend of mine who reccommended it. She has an Afgan. My dog is stockier but shorter. The medium would have barely fit around her chest, the large seems a bit too big. The front tab hangs down too low on her so she is continually tripping up. I still use it. I just have to feed the front tab up through her collar so it is not 100% effective. I think I just need to work harder on training her to walk with a regular leash/collar set up. She is still young (10 mo).

This is the first harness that put no strain on my dog's trachea. Walks are now so much better. He doesn't wheeze or gag at all.

I have tried just about everything.. And i have the bucket full of leashes and collars to prove it! I bought this one really thinking it was gonna fail but it went with her collar and leash that I absolutely love... This really works! My yellow lab doesn't pull when it's used and it's well made and will lat forever! It's a must have for the puller dogs in your life!! And I just love that peacock pattern!!!

Would like to see something between the MEDIUM and LARGE dog. Was afraid to go to small, so I went a little larger, but still falling within the perimeters of the harness.

The harness is a great idea and it definitely works! However, the part that is between the legs gets caught every now and again, especially if your dog wanders a whole lot. I love how thick the design nylon is, it just seems more sturdy than regular nylon leashes.

Hoping this would help , I bought the no pull harnesses. However, it does not stop the pulling and frequently gets stuck under her legs

The design of this training collar works well. However, the portion of the center strap that is attached to the D-ring occasionally gets stuck on the swivel clip where it is supposed to slide. So when the leash is fully retracted, I have to reach down and wiggle the strap to free it before correcting my dog.

My 4 year old boxer beagle never got use to her Gentle Leader and is awful on a leash. I decided to purchase this and give it a shot. It has seriously changed the way she walks!! AWESOME PRODUCT!! I'd reconmend to anyone hands down!

I normally get "walked" by my dog as much as I like to think I'm in control. I purchased this expecting it not to work (like most items I have tried in the past). I am amazed at how quickly it worked. Within 1 week the problem has been solved. My dog no longer pulls or tugs but walks next to me. I can actually bring him to more places now that he behaves on his leash. I no longer need to use the no pull attachment. Thank you! Now if you could just make a product to stop him chewing on our shoes :)

I bought the harness to help with my Rottie's love of pulling on a leash. The harness has stopped her from doing it and she's not choking like she was on a choke collar. The harness is very strong and solid. I was concerned it wouldn't be strong enough for my girl but it is. She also doesn't pull anymore at all. She walks nicely in a heel position.

We used other devices, on out Plott Hound mix, but this one has worked the best! Thanks Lupine

My 6 month old Ridgeback is strong, and I was shocked at how fast she took to this harness and stopped pulling on the leash.

As a Boston Terrier owner, I have tried NUMEROUS (I think this was my 4th) no-pull options for my high-energy pup. The others either A) didn't work or B) if they did work, they left my pup's armpits (do dogs have armpits?) raw and/or bleeding. This harness does neither. No soreness on her under arms and keeps her walking RIGHT beside me without the pulling. I use it with a 4 foot leash that has a 2 foot loop as well, and she does best when held by the 2 foot loop. My two dog-walkers also commented on how amazing she is walking with this new harness! AND, of course, super cute, as Lupine always is. FIVE STARS.

I will be exchanging the 2 no pull harness for 2 step in harnesses. We used the step in style when they were younger and they worked well with them.

Not sure if my dog just pulls more than others but this is difficult to use.

Haven't used it alot yet, but it appear to be truly functional in stopping the pulling of my pup.

I love this product, and have used it on many foster dogs with great success. Unfortunately with my current leopard cur dog, it just doesn't fit right to work. I got the size to fit his chest, but the length is too long and it constantly slips back towards his waist while we are walking which makes it pretty much ineffective. Still I love the product and will use it again, I just wish the length was somewhat adjustable for those odd sized dogs.

Our 8-month-old golden retriever weighs over 70 pounds now and we just we not able to safely walk her! I was loathe to try the pronged collar because I want to be humane and gentle. I turned to Lupine because I have always trusted their products for the past (and present) 4 dogs we've owned. I watched the Lupin video for this product. I also watched a few other videos. The day the no-pull harness and the 2-foot leash arrived I took her into the empty garage (we are in snow country) and played fetch, etc. We had fun and she got a little tired. That's when I started with the walking lessons. We practiced heel and sit. I gave frequent treats. After 3 lessons, I took her out on the street (I wore boot cleats for safety & security) and she was so much better to walk with! She stayed at my side and I used the pull and let go technique. I time our almost daily practice sessions to be when she is a bit tired or not in high energy mode. We are 3 weeks into a new and safe way to go for walks. By the time summer arrives, we will be ready. I'm no longer dreading it or feeling guilty that my beautiful dog would be able to enjoy being outside our fenced yard with us. Thank you, Lupine!

This harness works great with my border collie/aussie shepherd! She used to pull me like a big pit bull!! Now, when she feels the gentle tug as she gets to the end of the leash, she immediately slows down. I love using it!
